Applications are invited for filing up of the following posts in the Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench, Chandigarh on deputation/re-employment on contract basis for a period of one year from the candidates who fulfill following eligibility conditions:-

2 Principal Private Secretary 1 (Pay Band-3) 15600-39100 GP 6600 A Officer of the Central Government/State Government/Supreme Court of India/High Court/District Court:- (i) holding analogous post on regular basis; or (ii) holding the post of Private Secretary/ Personal Assistant/Stenographer in the scale of pay PB-3/PB-2 with Grade Pay of Rs 5400/-, having five years regular service In that grade; or (iii) holding the post of Private Secretary/ Personal Assistant/Stenographer in the Scale of pay PB-2 with Grade Pay of Rs 4800/- having six years regular service in that grade; or (iv) holding the post of Private Secretary/ Personal Assistant/Stenographer in the Scale of pay PB-2 with Grade Pay of Rs 4600/- having seven years regular service in that grade; and B Possessing following educational qualifications and experience:- (i) Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university/institution; and (ii) Speed of 100 words per minute in Shorthand (English). (iii) Knowledge of computer operation. Preference will be given to persons holding LLB Degree.
3 Private Secretary 1 (Pay Band-2) 9300-34800/- + GP 4600/- A Stenographers in the Central Government/ State Government/Supreme Court of India/High Court/District Court:- (i) holding analogous post on regular basis, or (ii) holding post in PB -2 with GP of Rs 4200 with five years regular service in the grade. B. Essential Qualifications for deputation/ re-employment on contract basis:- (i) Graduate or equivalent from recognized university/institution; and having speed of 120 words per minute in Shorthand (English) & 40 words per minute in Type Writing (English).
4 Assistant 1 (Pay Band-2) 9300-34800/- + GP 4200/- A Official of the Central Government/State Government/Supreme Court of India/High Court/District Court:- (i) holding analogous post on regular basis; or (ii) holding the post of Upper Division Clerk in PB-1 with Grade Pay of Rs 2400/- having ten years service in that grade: and B (i) Possessing Degree from recognized university and (ii) having 2 years experience in establishment, administration or Accounts. (iii) Knowledge of computer operation.
5 Tribunal Master (Stenographer Grade ‘C’) 6 (Pay Band-2) 9300-34800/- + GP 4200/- (A) Stenographers in the Central Government/ State Government/Supreme Court of India/High Court/District Court:- (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis; or (ii) Holding the post in the scale of pay PB-1 with Grade Pay of Rs 2400/-, having ten years regular service in that grade; and (B) Possessing following Educational qualifications and experience:- (i) Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university/institution: and (ii) Speed of 100 words per minute in Shorthand (English). (iii) Knowledge of computer operation. Desirable: A speed of 120 words per minute in shorthand (English)
6 Hindi Translator 1 (Pay Band-2) 9300-34800/- + GP 4200/- (A) (i) Persons holding analogous post on regular basis in Central Government/State Government/ Supreme Court of India/High Court/District Court, or (ii) Person holding the post in the scale of Rs 5200-20200 with GP Rs 2400/- with five years of regular service in that grade. (B) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:- (i) Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level: or (ii) Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level, or (iii) Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level: and (iv) Diploma or Certificate course in translation in Hindi to English and Vice-versa from recognized institution or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and Viceversa in Central Government or State Government including Government of India Undertakings.
