Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of Constitution of India for the under -mentioned posts under Assam Government in the scale of pay as indicated belowand carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam

Director of Ayush under Health & Family Welfare (B) Dept.

        1. Number of Post-1(one)
        2. SCALE OF PAY. P, Rs.12,000- to Rs. 40,000- PM with Grade Pay of Rs.7600-plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.
        3. AGE: Maximum 57 years.
        4. EDUCATIONALQUALIFICATION: The applicant shall possess PG degree in AyurvedaHomoeopathy recognized by the IMCC Act, 1970 and Homoeopathy Central Council Act.
        5. 1973 respectively.
        6. Eligibility: Minimum 20 years teaching experience out of which at least 5 years shall be as Professor or 5 years as Joint Director (AYUSH). Grade Pay of the last post hold by the candidate should be minimum Rs.6 ,600
        7. Desirable : At least 5 years experience of Administrative Services in recognized college or Govt Hospital.

Joint Director of Ayush under Health & Family Welfare (B) Deptt

        1. Number of posts: 1(one)
        2. SCALE OF PAY: P.B-4 Rs.12,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.6,600/- PM. plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.
        3. AGE: Minimum 45 years of age.
        4. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Should be PG Degree in Ayurveda/Homoeopathy recognized by the IMCC Act, 1970 and Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 respectively. Enrolment in State Registrar of India Medicine/Central Registrar of Indian Medicine/Central Council of Homoeopathy/Board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Assam. (v) Eligibility : Principal/Professor Homoeopathic Medical Colleges, Assam/Associate Professor Govt. Ayurvedic College, Assam/03 years regular Govt. Service As Deputy Director (AYUSH) or minimum 15 years of regular Govt. Service as Medical Officer (Ayur)/Medical Officer (Homoeo) under H&FW Department, Govt. of Assam. Grade pay of the last post hold by the candidate should be minimum Rs. 5,900/- (vi) Desirable : At least 3 years experience of Administrative Services in recognized college or Govt. Hospital

Deputy Director of Ayush under Health & Family Welfare (B) Deptt.

        1. Number of posts: 2(two) (one post is reserved for Ayurveda and Homoeopathy each)
        2. SCALE OF PAY: P.B-4 Rs.12,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.6,300/- PM. plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.
        3. AGE: Minimum 41 years of age.
        4. CRITERIA FOR DEPUTY DIRECTOR (AYUR): (iv) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : Educational qualification should be Bachelor degree in Ayurveda recognized by IMCC Act 1970. Enrolment in State Registrar of Indian Medicine/Central Registrar of Indian Medicine. (v) Eligibility : 10 years regular service experience as MO (Ayur) under H&FW Deptt. Govt. of Assam. (vi) Desirable : At least 2 years experience of Administrative Services in recognized college or Govt. Hospital. CRITERIA FOR DEPUTY DIRECTOR (HOMOEO): (vii) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : Educational qualification should be Bachelor degree in Homoeopathy recognized by the Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973. Enrolment in Central Council of Homoeopathy/board of Homoeopathic System of Medicine, Assam. (viii) Eligibility : 10 years regular service experience as MO (Homoeopathy) under H&FW Deptt. Govt. of Assam. (ix) Desirable : At least 2 years experience of Administrative Services in recognized college or Govt. Hospital.

Deputy L.R & Deputy Secretary under Judicial Deptt

        1. Number of posts: 1 (one) in Grade III of the Assam Legal Service.
        2. SCALE OF PAY: Rs. 12,000/- to Rs.40,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.6,600/- P.M plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.
        3. AGE: Candidates shall not be more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2015. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates as per Govt. Rules and orders.
        4. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: A candidate must be an Advocate enrolled under the Advocate’ Act 1961 who has been practicing as such as an Advocate of a High Court or a pleader of a District Court for at least 5 years, or a Judicial Officer of at least 5 years standing.
        5. OTHER QUALIFICATION: A candidate must be in good moral and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the discharge of his duties and to this effect he must produce a certificate from the registered medical practitioner not below the rank of Chief Medical Officer or a medical Officer of equivalent status.

Junior Legislative Counsel and Under Secretary in the Legislative Department:

        1. Number of posts: 1 (one) post in Grade IV of the Assam Legal Service
        2. SCALE OF PAY: Rs. 12,000/- to Rs.40,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/- P.M plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.
        3. AGE: Candidates shall not be more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2015. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates as per Govt. Rules and orders.
        4. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : A candidate must be an Advocate enrolled under the Advocate’ Act 1961 who has been practicing as such for at least 3 (three) years or a Judicial Officer of at least 3 years standing, or a Chief Language Officer of the Legislative Department, holding a degree in Law and having 3 years experience as such officer or with 2 (two) years experience as such officer, if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 3 (three) years or a Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a degree in Law and having 5 years experience as such officer or 2 (two) years, experience as Language Officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 4(four) years.
        5. OTHER QUALIFICATION: A candidate must be in good moral and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the discharge of his duties and to this effect he must produce a certificate from the registered medical practitioner not below the rank of Chief Medical Officer or a medical Officer of equivalent status

Selection Procedure for Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) – Junior Legislative Counsel & More Vacancies Service Post: 

        1. Candidates can apply on or before  08-02-2015.
        2. Candidates shall have to sit for a written examination as per dates, venues and programme which will be notified in due course

How to apply for Junior Legislative Counsel & More Vacancies Vacancy in Assam Public Service Commission (APSC):

a. Application form may be obtained by downloading the same from the APSC’s website www.apsc.nic.in. b. The last date of receiving duly filled up application form in the Commission’s office is fixed on 08-02-2015. c. Applications (including applications received through post) received after the last date fixed for receipt shall not be entertained. d. Applications which are signed by the candidates and accompanied by all particulars as called for in the application form supplied by the Commission only shall be considered and candidates fulfilling all the terms of the advertisement of the respective posts shall be called for a Screening test or Viva-voce interview where necessary as decided by the Commission. e. (i) All candidates whether in Government Service or in Government owned undertaking or other similar organizations/Corporations/Boards/Bodies or in private employments may submit their application direct to the Commission subject to fulfilling the condition. If any such candidate forwards his/her application through his/her Controlling Officer/Employer, he/she should ensure that the application reaches the Assam Public Service Commission within the closing date, failing which it is liable to be rejected even if it had been submitted to the Controlling Officer/Employer before the closing date. (ii) The Commission shall in no way be responsible in the event of any candidate after appointment is not released by the concerned authority to enable him/her to join the new post. f. Candidates in the service of the State Govt. of Assam claiming age relaxation in terms of Personnel (B) O.M No. ABP 513/79/9, dated 27-03-1980 and O.M No. ABP 73/89/17, dated 04-01-1992 must submit the necessary recommendations from the employers within 30 days from the last date submission of forms. HOW TO FILL UP THE FORM a. Applicants must affix 1 (One) copy of recent photograph on the space provided in the application form firmly with good quality glue/adhesive and also should enclose another copy along with the application. The photograph must be signed prominently. The Commission shall not be responsible for detachment/ loss of the photograph. b. Since the practice of furnishing attested copies of certificates/mark sheets etc. by competent authority has been discontinued by the Govt., the applicant shall furnish copies of certificate/mark sheet etc. declared by himself/herself as certified to be true copy of the original along with the application. c. In case of detection of any false declaration / statement made by any applicant, his/her application will be rejected and will also be penalized as per Rules/Law. Self attested photocopies of Certificate / Mark Sheet from HSLC onwards and also Caste Certificate / Registration Certificate / Experience Certificate (where necessary) should be furnished invariably and should be tagged properly without any chance of getting lost during transit. The Commission will not be responsible for any such loss due to improper tagging. d. Incomplete application in terms of the Advertisement will be summarily rejected. No documents will be entertained after the last date of submission of application.
