PRODUCTS AND SERVICES The Company operates in various business segments through Strategic Business Units [SBUs] and Joint Venture Companies [JVCs]. It is the market leader in Industrial Greases & Specialty Lubricants, Steel Barrel, Corporate Travel and Logistics Services. The Company also has significant presence in most of the other businesses it operates in, namely, Refinery & Oil Field Services [ROFS], Leather / Performance Chemicals, Logistics Infrastructure, etc.

CURRENT OPENINGS The company is looking for qualified and experienced professionals to lead the vacations vertical of SBU – Travel & Vacations as per details given below:

  2. SBU/Function SBU – Travel & Vacations, Mumbai
  3. Level & Grade Leadership level
  4. Qualification The applicant must be a Graduate. Preference shall be given to candidates with Post Graduate Qualification in Management.
  5. Indicative Job Description The key role and responsibilities will be to:- a. Achieve Top-Line & Bottom- Line for the Vacations Vertical, lead with a focus to achieve breakeven within a year. b. Implement Technology up-gradation plan, facilitate induction of new technology to simplify/enhance process performance and optimize operating cost. c. Monitor branch wise performance, review and initiate timely corrective actions. d. Augment turnover/contribution from corporate clientele, with a focus on clients of Ticketing vertical. e. Introduce new products /services and increase revenue from allied services and effective management of channel/preferred partners. f. Drive aggressive turnover growth by ensuring footprint expansion and effective management of channel/preferred partners. g. Oversee the financial results, utilization and working capital utilization and direct the tea to work in a coordinated manner, to achieve results while ensuring achievement of budgetary parameters. The above list is only indicative and not exhaustive.
  6. Experience Profile Graduates should have post qualification experience of minimum 20 years. Professionally qualified** candidates should have post qualification experience of minimum 13 years as on the date of notification. (Candidates with Exposure to the leisure/vacations business will be primary criteria for selection)
  7. Maximum Age Maximum age as on the date of notification should be 50 years.
  8. Professional Qualification include 2 year full time MBA/PGDBM or equivalent; CA/ICWA/CS; Graduate Engineers and Executive MBA of not less than one year duration from premier Institutes such as IIMs, XLRI, MDI, IBS etc. Post Graduate Degrees such as MA/ MSc./ MSW etc. may also be considered as professional qualification with reference to specific function/area/specialization to which applicable.
  9. TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT: The engagement shall be on renewable Fixed Term Rolling Contract (FTC) of 5 years.
  10. COMPENSATION: Compensation will be as per industry standards. For deserving candidates, CTC will not be a constraint.
  11. PLACE OF POSTING Initially, the place of posting will be Mumbai, however, in future, it can be anywhere in India or abroad depending on the exigencies of work. The Company reserves the right to create a panel through empanelment of candidates if more than one candidate is found suitable and offer employment opportunity to such empaneled candidate in future in similar role at same or different location.
