Detail of Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal (CWDT) Registrar & More Vacancies Recruitment:

Applications from eligible candidates are invited to fill up following post on deputation / Re-employment basis from the employees / officers retired from Central Govt ./ U.T. / State Governments / P.S.U (except the employees of Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala and Union Territory of Puducherry ) on usual terms and conditions of deputation vide DOPT OM No.2/29/91-Estt. (Pay II), dated 5th January, 1994 and as amended from time to time :-

Registrar 1 Deputation (including short-term contract) Officer under the Central Government/State/Government/ UT/Govt. including State Judicial Services/ PSUs/ Autonomous/ SemiGovernment/ Statutory Organisations etc. i) a Graduate from recognized University or equivalent (ii) Holding analogous post on regular basis OR holding a post in the pay scale Rs. 15600-39100/- + GP Rs. 6600/ (or equivalent in the pre-revised scales) with five years regular service in the grade OR Holding a post in the pay scale Rs. 15600- 39100/- + GP Rs. 5400/ (or equivalent in the pre revised scale) with ten years regular service in the grade AND (iii) Having atleast five years experience of handling Establishment, Administration and Accounts matters of Government Establishment Preference shall be given to the Law Graduates with Knowledge of legal matters and procedures and experience of court proceedings. Note: Period of deputation/ contract including the period of deputation/contract in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/ Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years or till the life of the CWDT or till further orders whichever is earliest. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation including short term contract shall not be exceeding 56 years. Re-employment: Officers retired from the Central Government/ State Government/UT Govt. including State Judicial Services./PSUs/ Autonomous/SemiGovernment/Statutory Organisations etc. Having held analogous post and possessing qualification and experience as of (i) (ii) & (iii) above provided that the retired Government servant appointed as Registrar shall cease to hold the post of Registrar after he attains the age of 65 years.. Beyond that the term of incumbent can be extended further for a period of not more than six months on the same terms and conditions in public interest if required. Pay Band 3 with Pay Scale ‐ Rs.15,600‐39,100
Section Officer (S.O.) 1 Deputation (including short-term contract) Officer under the Central Government/State/Government/ UT/ PSUs/ Autonomous/ Semi-Government/ Statutory Organisations etc.(i) a Graduate from recognized University or equivalent (ii) Holding analogous post on regular basis OR holding a post in the pay scale Rs. Rs.9300-34800 /- + Grade Pay Rs.4200/- (or equivalent in the pre-revised scales) with atleast six years regular service in the grade Preference shall be given to the person possessing knowledge of Administration and Accounts matters of Government Establishment. Note: Period of deputation/ contract including the period of deputation/contract in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/ Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years or till the life of the CWDT or till further orders whichever is earliest. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation including short term contract shall not be exceeding 56 years. Re-employment: Officers retired from the Central Government/ State Government/UT./PSUs/ Autonomous/Semi-Government/Statutory Organisations etc. (i) Having Graduate degree in any stream from recognized University Or equivalent, AND (ii) having held analogous post on regular basis OR a post in the pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800/- + Grade Pay Rs.4200/- (or equivalent in the pre-revised scales) with six years of regular service. Preference shall be given to the persons possessing knowledge of Administrative and Account matters of Government establishment. Provided that the retired Government servant appointed as Section Officer shall cease to hold the post of section officer after he attains the age of 65 years. Beyond that the term of incumbent can be extended further for a period of not more than six months on the same terms and conditions in public interest if required. Pay Band 2 with Pay Scale – Rs.9300 – 34,800
Assistant 1 Deputation (including short-term contract) Officer under the Central Government/State/Government/ UT/ PSUs/ Autonomous/ Semi-Government/ Statutory Organisations etc. i) a Graduate from recognized University or equivalent (ii) Holding analogous post on regular basis OR holding a post in the pay scale Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2800/- (or equivalent in the pre-revised scales) with atleast six years regular service in the grade OR Holding post in the pay scale Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400/- with ten years regular service in the grade Preference shall be given to the candidate possessing knowledge of Administration and Accounts matters of Government Establishment. Note: Period of deputation/ contract including the period of deputation/contract in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/ Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years or till the life of the CWDT or till further orders whichever is earliest. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation including short term contract shall not be exceeding 56 years. Preference shall be given to the candidate possessing knowledge of Administrative and Account matters of Government establishment. Provided that the retired Government servant appointed as Assistant shall cease to hold the post of Assistant after he attains the age of 65 years. Beyond that the term of incumbent can be extended further for a period of not more than six months on the same terms and conditions in public interest if required Pay Band 2 with Pay Scale – Rs.9300 – 34,800
