Executive Engineer & More Vacancies

Central university of Punjab has released a notification on 21st October 2014 for filling up to 97 teaching and non teaching vacancies. CUP invites application from interested and eligible candidates for filling up to 97 vacancies. As per notification released by the cup for teaching & non teaching recruitment 2014 eligibility criteria of candidates should have a UGC regulations minimum qualification in relevant field under any recognized university in India. Age limit varies according to the post. Candidates are selected by the test or interview. Selected candidates will receive the pay scale according to the selected post. Pay Scales of posts are as per the UGC norms and carry allowances and terminal benefits as admissible to Central Government employees of the respective scale posted at Bathinda. Last date for the submission of application is on or before 10th November 2014 5:00PM.

Application should be accompanied with application fee in the form of non-refundable demand draft drawn of the Central University of Punjab Bathinda for Rs.500/- (Rs. 250/- for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/PWD) drawn in favour of the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda. The application fee for contractual positions is Rs. 100/- only. Applicants serving in Government/Semi-Government organizations/Public Sector Undertakings/ Autonomous Bodies must send their applications “Through Proper Channel.” The applications received without the recommendations of the employer will not be considered. However, an advance copy of application may be sent followed by the original application through proper channel. The age of superannuation for all the post shall be as per UGC norms. Incomplete applications or without relevant supporting enclosures (self attested clear Photostat copies of degree certificates/marks sheets/experience certificate/application fee, etc.) will be summarily rejected. How to Apply:

        1. The candidate should download the application form available at website www.centralunipunjab.com; www.cup.ac. In and submit it complete in all respects on or before 1st August 2014.
        2. One set of self attested certificates and other supporting documents are to be attached with the application form. The candidates should bring original certificates at the time of interview.
        3. The candidates should submit Five Copies Summary Sheet and the API form along with their application. The API form is available at university website.
        4. Only one set of self attested certificates and other supporting documents including reprints of publications are to be attached with application form.
        5. Application fee of Rs. 100/- in the form of Demand draft in the favour of Central
        6. University of Punjab payable at Bathinda should accompany the application.
        7. Candidates already in employment government sector would be required to submit a “No Objection Certificate” from the employer prior to the interview, failing which they may not be considered for appointment.
        8. In case of in-service candidates from Private Sector, acceptance of resignation and relieving letter from the employer at the time of joining must be submitted.
        9. The period of contract may be extended, after a review process of the performance of candidate by a duly constituted committee.
        10. The appointment will not establish any right/claim for regularization of the service.
