The university is offering admission to M.Phil., M.Ed., M.Sc., and M.Pharm. programmes during academic session 2014-15 and invites applications for different faculty positions in the following Centres of Studies on purely temporary and contract basis in the following centres:

Qualification : As per “UGC REGULATIONS ON MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT OF TEACHERS AND OTHER ACADEMIC STAFF IN UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES AND MEASURES FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF STANDARDS IN HIGHER EDUCATION 2010 ” and the 2nd Amendments to the  regulations issued in June 2013. As per National Council For Teacher Education regulations, 2009. Retired teachers fulfilling essential qualifications can also apply.
  3. Remuneration : Rs. 42,000/- p.m. (Fixed)


Procedure to Apply :

  1. The candidate should download the application form available at website; in and submit it complete in all respects on or  before 1st August 2014.
  2. One set of self attested certificates and other supporting documents are to be attached with  the application form. The candidates should bring original certificates at the time of interview.
  3. The candidates should submit Five Copies Summary Sheet and the API form along with  their application. The API form is available at university website.
  4. Only one set of self attested certificates and other supporting documents including reprints  of publications are to be attached with application form.
  5. Application fee of Rs. 100/- in the form of Demand draft in the favour of Central  University of Punjab payable at Bathinda should accompany the application.
  6. Candidates already in employment government sector would be required to submit a “No  Objection Certificate” from the employer prior to the interview, failing which they may not be  considered for appointment.
  7. In case of in-service candidates from Private Sector, acceptance of resignation and relieving  letter from the employer at the time of joining must be submitted.
  8. The period of contract may be extended, after a review process of the performance of  candidate by a duly constituted committee.
  9. The appointment will not establish any right/claim for regularization of the service.
