Detail of Centre for the Development of Glass Industry (CDGI) Principal Director Recruitment:

Applications are invited from citizens of India for the post of Principal Director in CENTRE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF GLASS INDUSTRY, FIROZABAD, which is proposed to be filled up on contract basis for a period of 5 years initially with further extension based on the review of performance of the individual. The details regarding eligibility condition etc. are as under:

Principal Director 01 Educational Qualification a. Essential : Degree in Ceramic/Silicate/Glass Technology or equivalent with Glass as a main subject from recognized University or Institute. b. Desirable : Post Graduate degree in Ceramic/Silicate/Glass Technology or Management from recognized University/Institution. Experience a. Essential : 15 years experience in Production/Research in a glass/ceramic industry/R&D Organization in a responsible position. b. Desirable : Experience in Implementation & Management of glass projects and manufacture of different type of glasses/glass products. Experience in financial, personnel management and general administration. In case of exceptionally deserving suitable and meritorious candidates, requirements of experience can be relaxed at the discretion of Chairman, Governing Council Rs.14,300-400-18,300 (pre-revised) (Pay scale-Rs.37,400 to 67,000/-, Grade pay-Rs.8700/-
& Pay Band – 4 as per 6th CPC revised pay Rules). carries allowances as per government
Not exceeding 50 years
