QUALIFICATIONS :-

For the Posts at Sr. No. A(a) 1 to 3 :

  1. Master’s degree in respective subject. OR .
    Bachelor’s degree in 1st Class with distinction, Atleast IInd Class Bachelor’s degree with three years experience as Junior Research Assistant or its equivalent.

For the Posts at Sr. No. A(b) 1, B (a) 1 :

Bachelor’s degree in the respective Faculty.

For the Post at Sr. No. C (1) :

  1. Essential Qualification :  Doctoral degree in relevant field of Horticulture with 4 years experience as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay scale of Rs. 8000-13500 (5th Pay) having contribution in teaching/research/extension education with publications in recognized journals. OR
    Doctoral degree in relevant field of Horticulture with 4 years experience of high quality post-doctoral research in reputed Institution and publications in recognized journals.
  2. Desirable Qualification : Specialization in implementing extension education programmes.

AGE LIMIT :-

  1. The existing rules of the State Govt. in respect of age limit will be applicable for the advertised posts, except for the post of Programme Co-ordinator at Sr. No. C (1) . The maximum age limit will be 33 years for the candidates from open category and 38 years for the candidates from reserved categories.
  2. The maximum age limit, as prescribed by the ICAR, for the post of Programme Co-ordinator at Sr. No. C (1) will be 45 years (relaxable by 5 years to Backward class candidates. The age limit is not applicable to the persons who are already in service on regular establishment of State Agricultural Universities in Maharashtra.

APPLICATION FEE :-

Non-refundable application fee for each advertised post is Rs.500/- (Rs. Five hundred only) for candidates from Open category and Rs.250/- (Rs. Two hundred fifty only) for candidates from reserved categories from Maharashtra State and applying for the reserved posts only. The application fee should be paid by the candidate separately for each post for which he has applied. Application fee shall be paid by “Account Payee Demand Draft” drawn in favour of “The Comptroller, Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli”, on the “State Bank of India, Branch, Dapoli” (Code No.1047). The Demand Draft must be enclosed with the application.

HOW TO APPLY :-

Candidate satisfying the eligibility shall submit the application covering all the points alongwith the list of attested documents in the format given below on plain A-4 size paper only. The copies of the certificates duly attested regarding Qualifications, Date of Birth, Caste, Experience, etc. should be attached with the application. The Application forms duly completed in all respects should reach in the office of the “Registrar, Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli-415712, Dist. Ratnagiri (Maharashtra)”on or before 10th July, 2013. The University reserves the right of rejection of any application form due to non-observance of these instructions.
