Detail of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Computer Programmer Recruitment:
Applications are invited for purely temporary post of Computer Programmer (Technical Officer-A) (one post) in ICMR’s Online Extramural Research Proposal Processing and Management Programme in the Division of Publication & Information. Candidates have to apply on email: [email protected] addressed to Dr. V. K. Srivastava, Head Division of Publication & Information, ICMR (HQ), New Delhi. In the subject line please write “Computer Programmer (Technical Officer-A)”. Along with the soft copy, it is also necessary to submit hard copy of the application supported with the attested copies of documents in support of essential and desired qualifications, date of birth and experience claimed. In the absence of hard copy of the application, candidates will not be considered.
- Essential: First Class Master’s Degree in Computer Science (MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized university of equivalent.
- Desirable: One year experience in programming including developing software utility programmes, databases management and data processing. Working experience with online system will be preferred.
- Age: Not exceeding 28 years as on May11, 2015. (Age relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC and women as per rule). Certificate will have to be produced for the claim
- Salary: Rs. 29,187/- per month (consolidated)

The duration of the post is currently one year. The appointment is terminable with one-month notice from either side. The Council can terminate the appointment at any time by giving one month notice without assigning any reason. The selected candidate will have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR. Benefits of Provident Fund, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, etc. are not admissible. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview.
