Details of Post :

Event Manager

One Event Manager for 12 months beginning December 1, 2014 with monthly consolidated  honorarium of Rs. 25,000-30,000.

 Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate in communication /Management/ Advertising/Media Planning/Journalism/Social science/Psychology/English or equivalent. Candidates with experience of managing international event may be preferred. Essential Work Experience: 2 -4 years of event  management

Other Skills Required:

Excellent general & business writing skills, excellent spoken English, , “polished” communication skills, Public Relations  and pleasant personality

Job requirement

      1.   Continuously updating entire website content (For the sake of clarity, the vendor’s team shall be responsible for actual uploading of content)
      2. Should have decent computer skills  to monitor interactive conference website
      3. Developing & keeping conference brochures/fliers up-to-date
      4. Developing & maintaining Scholars/ writers database
      5. Communicating with various stakeholders on the developments and activities
      6. Maintaining & updating projects paper database
      7. Media relations, including press release and coordination with media outlets and journalists
      8. Be responsible for management, coordination and coverage of the proceedings of the conference
      9. Coordination and active participation in content developing / content gathering / editing /
      10. Management of regular mailers: complete timely management / mail-out; ensuring all relevant stakeholders / contacts are covered as required, checking / following-up on receipt / delivery
      11. Management and coordination of meetings
      12. Handling all communications related work, as required from time to time

Selection:

Based on personal interview to be held at IIM Lucknow Noida campus during 1st  week of December, 2014. Please note that no T.A. will be paid to the candidate who will be called in for attending the interview at the Noida campus of IIML.
