Banker/Technical Faculty on Contract Basis

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (as on 01.08.2014) Candidates, intending to apply for the above post should ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS in this advertisement.

Please note that the eligibility criteria specified herein are the basic criteria for applying for the post. Candidates must necessarily produce the relevant documents pertaining to age, educational qualifications, post qualification work experience etc. in original alongwith a photocopy thereof in support of their identity and eligibility as indicated in the application form.

Name of the Post :BANKER FACULTY

  1. No of Post : 01
  2. Qualification :a) Candidates should be Graduate or Post graduate from any recognized Institution or University. b) Preferable – CAIIB
  3. Post Qualification Minimum Work Experience:The Incumbent should be a officer retired on attaining superannuation/ voluntarily retired, retired under SBP VRS, released under Exit Option Scheme or who have left the Bank / organization otherwise before superannuation from the service of any public sector Bank having worked as chief Manager and abovepreferably with experience as Faculty in the Training Institute and/or experience of writing tests (Question Papers) for recruitment / Promotion examinations of Banks or Public sector organizations
  4. Age : Not exceeding 62 years A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1952 (date inclusive)

Name of the Post :TECHNICAL FACULTY 

  1. No of Post : 01
  2. Qualification :a) Should have done B. Tech. or B.E. or AMIE as a full time course, from a recognized university / institute in Electrical or Mechanical or Civil or Electronics & Telecom or Instrumentation etc./ M.C.A. / Post Graduate In Computer Science or M.B.A. with specialisation in Marketing / Personnel / HR/Systems. b)Preferable – CAIIB
  3. Post Qualification Minimum Work Experience: The Incumbent should be an officer retired on attaining superannuation/ voluntarily retired, retired under SBP VRS, released under Exit Option Scheme or who have left the Bank/organization otherwise before superannuation from the service of any public sector Bank / financial organization with Minimum 15 years post qualification experience as Technical Officer/SSI Officer in a bank/financial organization in Senior Management cadre or Minimum 15 years experience of teaching one (or more) of these subjects in a reputed Institute/College.
  4. Age : Not exceeding 62 years A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1952 (date inclusive)

Age Criteria will however not be applicable for internal candidate/ candidates already with IBPS under contractual agreement.

Other criteria

  1. Knowledge in computer operations / Language will be an added advantage.
  2. His/ her integrity should not have been doubtful during his/her service.
  3. No punishment/penalty should have been inflicted on him/her during his/her service.
  4. Cases of CBI or other law enforcement agencies should not be pending against him/her.
  5. Candidates can apply for only one post. Multiple applications will be summarily rejected.
  6.  Preference will be given to candidates with experience in developing objective, psychological and educational tests and other selection tools.

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT Appointment will be on contract basis. The initial period will be of 1 to 2 years subject to quarterly review and may be renewed subsequently subject to his/her continued good performance and physical fitness.

SALARY : – NEGOTIABLE Candidates may mention in their application the salary drawn (wherever applicable) and salary expected.

JOB PROFILE, ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES : The job requires writing questions (multiple choice or short answer type questions) designed to assess cognitive ability and personality domains and research in the areas of specialization and/or other related areas given above, and Human Resource Management, Education, Psychology, Banking, financial Awareness, Computer, SSI, Agriculture and other tests and related analysis and coordination work. Any other work assigned by the competent authority.
