Detail of Mumbai Port Trust Chief Law Officer Recruitment:
Applications are invited for the post of Chief Law Officer as head of the Legal Division [Pay scale Rs 32900-3%-58000 (on IDA pattern)] on deputation basis for a period of 3 years. Accordingly, Officers from the Major Port Trusts/Central/State Government Departments/Autonomous Bodies/Semi Govt./PSUs etc. fulfilling the prescribed qualifications and experience given below may apply:
- MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS (i) Degree in Law from a recognised University. (ii) Twelve years executive experience in a Legal Establishment of an Industrial/Commercial/Govt. Undertaking. (iii) Officer should be holding analogous post or post of Dy.Chief Law Officer or equivalent posts in the discipline of Legal Division/ in the scale of pay of Rs 24900-3%-50500 in Govt./PSUs or Autonomous Bodies with 3 years regular service in the grade.
- DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION Post Graduate degree in Law from a recognised University. 2. The appointment on deputation will be governed by the Central Government standard terms of deputation (Appendix 5, Part I, General Rules, Swamy’s Compilation of FRSR). 3. Benefits admissible include DA on IDA pattern (2001 series) and other allowances with gross remuneration of about Rs 81592/- plus HRA at 30% in case not residing in Ports accommodation.
