Detail of National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) Assistant Manager – IMPS Products Recruitment:

    1. Position: Assistant Manager – IMPS Products
    2. Number of Positions: One
    3. Place of posting: Mumbai
    4. Age as on 15.01.2015: Preferably between 24 years and 28 years
Educational Qualification B.Tech / BE / MCA /MBA with relevant experience in Internet & mobile payments.
Experience Minimum qualification experience of 3-5 years in relevant area, out which minimum 2 years should be in Mobile/Digital Payments and/or Prepaid Products.
Key Responsibilities:
    • Support the IMPS Product Manager on product development & processes enhancement other than NUUP & Prepaid Issuer product/business. Support the IMPS Product Manager on the overall product & proposition enhancement for existing products & create opportunities for the new products which can be launched and the customer experience enhanced on all the products.
    • Coordination with the internal and external stakeholders, where required on creating base product documents and seeking requisite approvals from the relevant Product Committee & all the internal stakeholders to ensure seamless launch of the products & processes.
    • Provide all relevant support on Certification for the existing products such as P2P, P2A, P2U across all channels such as Internet Banking, Mobile, IVR, branch banking, NUUP, PPI channel etc.
    • Assist in review of certification process & monitoring delays & slippages if any. Review of the Certification team to ensure that there are no slippages and process improvement.
    • Support in driving the Merchant payments across the banks and other channels.
    • Support New Product development initiatives – Testing & Implementation, Coordination with internal teams for the day-to-day issues/process enhancement, Operations & Technology coordination for further refinement of the product
    • Support business number facilitation through the BD team.
    • Facilitation of Documentation and audit formalities.
    • Ensuring team management and retention, where applicable.
    • Support the Product manager in carrying out regular Operations & Technology reviews basis the challenges, issues & concerns highlighted by members and provide for avenues of resolving the issues & concerns through understanding of the challenges internally.
    • Other key projects assigned from time to time.
    • Carrying out the Operations & Technology reviews, basis the challenges, issues & concerns highlighted by the member banks and/or Telecom companies and provide for avenues of resolving the issues & concerns through understanding of the challenges internally.

Essential Knowledge:
    • Excellent oral and written communication, project management, product management and implementation, mobile / Internet technologies, database technology skills are critical.
    • Experience in merchant payments implementation, and technical knowledge
    • Extensive product development experience in mobile payment area
    • Experience in merchant payments implementation and technical knowledge thereof is desirable
    • In-depth knowledge of mobile technologies, Internet and database technologies
    • Knowledge of reconciliation, settlement and dispute resolution for mobile payments
    • Knowledge of back office operations of mobile payment area including settlement.
    • Knowledge of industry, market trends, and competition
  • Ability to manage relationships with senior executives in the mobile payments market.
