Post : General Manager

        1. Discipline/Number of posts(Indicative):  Technical (2)

        4. Essential Qualification : B.Tech / B.E in Textile Technology or equivalent from a National level Institute of repute and recognized by Competent Indian Authorities for appointment to senior positions
        5. Minimum  Years of  Experience (Post Qualification) : Minimum 16 years of post qualification relevant experience, out of which at least 4 years in senior management level as a head of the department of a reasonably sized organization of Textile Industry

        3. Essential Qualification :B. Tech/B.E (Textile Technology / Chemical Engineering ) from a National Level Institute of repute and recognized by Competent Indian Authorities for appointment to senior positions.
        4. Minimum Years of Experience (Post Qualification): Minimum 16 yrs of post qualification relevant experience for GM positions /14 yrs of post qualificationrelevant experience for DGM positions out of which at least 5 years in senior management level in technical textile area.
        5. Grade/ Scale:Remuneration will be mutually decided

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

        1. Only Indian Nationals need apply.
        2. Appointment to the posts at S.no 1 to 9 will be on regular basis. Candidates appointed on regular basis will be on probation for a period of one year.For the post at Sl. No. 10 the appointment is on contract basis. Initially the contract is for one year and extendable for further two years if the performance is found satisfactory.
        3. Selected candidates during the period of his/her employment will be required to serve at any other location/office of NTC situated anywhere in India.
        4. Depending on the requirement, the company reserves the right to cancel /restrict/ curtail/ Increase the number of vacancies, if need so arises, without any further notice and without assigning any reason thereof.
        5. NTC will not be responsible for any postal delay/ wrong delivery/ non-delivery of communication by the candidate at any stage of the recruitment process.
        6. The cutoff date for considering the age and experience of candidates will be taken as on 31.08.2014.
        7. Internal candidates of NTC, currently working in lower scales will also be considered for selection on merit, subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria. Upper age limit will be relaxed for internal candidates as per NTC rules.
        8. Mere conformity to the job requirements will not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. Management reserves the right to reject the application without assigning any reason and to increase / decrease the number of posts depending on the requirement or to raise the Standard of Specifications to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview or to cancel the entire process itself.
        9. A non-refundable ‘Account Payee’ demand draft for Rs. 300/- drawn in favour of National Textile Corporation Ltd. on any Nationalized Bank payable at New Delhi is to be enclosed along with the prescribed application form. No other mode of payment is acceptable. Candidates should mention their name, post applied for,registration no. and address on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. No fee is payable by SC / ST candidates and persons with disability (PWD).(10) Applicants serving in Government / Public ector Enterprises / Semi-Government organizations etc., should apply through proper channel or produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of interview, failing which they will not be permitted to appear for the interview.
        10. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to verification of Caste, Character and Antecedents, from the concerned authorities as per the rules of the Company.
        11. Reservations and Age relaxation for different categories viz. SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ Exservicemen etc., are as per Govt. of India Directives.
        12. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer) /PWD/Ex-servicemen category should enclose a copy of the certificate issued by the Competent Authority to that effect.
        13. Candidates belonging to OBC category are required to produce the recently obtained OBC Certificate (Non-creamy layer) (not older than 6 months as on the date of advertisement) in the format prescribed by the Government of India, issued by Competent Authority.
        14. Candidates belonging to PWD/Ex-Servicemen are required to furnish attested copies of certificates in support of their claim. In case, the candidate fails to produce the certificate in support of their claim, his/her candidature will not be considered.
        15. The appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their medical fitness for such appointment based on Medical Examination as per the Directives of the Company.
        16. No correspondence will be entertained with the candidates not short listed for interview.
        17. Incomplete application or application without prescribed fee will be rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
        18.  Management reserves the right to call or not to call any / all of the candidates who have responded against this advertisement.

        20.  The place of posting mentioned against the advertised posts is tentative and candidates once selected are likely to be posted anywhere in India at NTC Mills, Regional Offices, Marketing offices and Head Office as per requirement.
        21. The decision of Management regarding selection will be final.

SELECTION PROCEDURE : Eligible candidates shortlisted based on the initial scrutiny will be called for interview. Suitable communications in this regard will be sent to the candidates individually. Out-station candidates called for interview will be paid eligible train fare by the shortest route on production of proof of journey as per NTC TA rules.

NTC reserves the right to conduct preliminary interview / test/GD etc depending upon the response of candidates and the number thereof in respect of all the positions as deemed fit by NTC Management.

        2. Candidates must check their eligibility/ suitability thoroughly before applying and must apply for only one position/category.
        3. Submission of application:(a) Once you submit your Application Online, the System will generate a unique Registration No and Slip.
