Job Description : As Lead Engineer the individual shall primarily be responsible for –  Review of engineering design for embankments, cutting and level section for construction of formation, in accordance with RDSO specifications and guidelines.  Review of GA drawings for all kind of bridges including validation of discharge, geotechnical data, bore logs, survey details etc.  Review of engineering scale plans of track structures, points and crossings etc. in all respects.  Issuance of comments against observations against drawings and designs.  Co-ordination between contractor and consultant for finalization of drawings and design in a line with RDSO (Research Designing & Standard Organization) guidelines.  Final checking and approval of drawings for construction for track, embankments, bridges, S&T etc. in all respect.  Incorporation of changes made during construction  Communicating and liaising effectively with contractors and its subcontractors,  Adopting all relevant requirements around issues such as environmental regulations, sanitary design, good industry practices and safety on all work assignments;  Establishing work processes with leads to ensure compliance with quality requirements.  Participating, as required, in project review meetings. Desired Candidate Profile  Should be Degree in Civil Engineering with around 10-15 years’ experience in an engineering design of railway works viz earth work, bridges, track, S&T etc.  Must have lead the team of Engineers/Consultants engaged in railway designs.  Should be well conversant RDSO standard practices.  Possesses good knowledge engineering design  Fluent in English and Hindi.

Job Description : • Negotiation and Preparation of commercially sound and legally binding contracts for procurement of EPC/Supply/Services contracts • Negotiate and execute contracts on time • To ensure strict compliance to contract terms • Ensure timely execution , reporting, release of payments to vendors/contractors, warehousing, etc., throughout the execution of the contracts • Claims control and Change Order management • Timely evaluate, monitor and mitigate residual risks in the contract • Timely closure of contracts • Support Contracts and Procurement Manager in contract administration and resolving contractual, commercial and payment related issues • Expediting with Vendors and internally so that the delivery of supplies and services are made as per contract to meet compliance to contract conditions • Processing of Vendor invoices for payments by Finance and maintain proper records for accountability and traceability as per company policies and procedures • Handle all commercial issues related to the contracts
Desired Candidate Profile
• Must have executed at least one large EPC contract completely, for power project / Mines, as applicable • Must have carried out ICB for large packages • Must be familiar with procurement of multiple EPC, Supply contracts and construction contractors. • Must have administered supply / services / EPC contracts, throughout the entire contractual period until closing. • Sound knowledge of Statutory and Legal liabilities, Taxation, Insurance best practices, Legal procedures, Govt. Regulations, etc. for such contracts in India • Strong techno-commercial skills • Sound knowledge of acceptable commercial terms in the market for such contracts • Demonstrated ability to understand and analyse commercial conditions • Sound knowledge of contract interfaces • Sound market knowledge of suppliers and contractors, both domestic and international • Fluent in English and Hindi.
