Eligibility ConditionsProfessor (Baudha Darshana) Essential Qualifications for Professor (Baudha Darshana):A. (i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D qualification(s) and Acharya or equivalent Degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in the Baudha Darshana discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and / or research/ policy papers. (ii) A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university / college, and / or experience in research at the University / National level institutions / industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.

Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses and technology- mediated teaching learning process. (iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in UGC Regulations 2010 in Appendix III. OR B. An outstanding professional with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the Baudha Darshana discipline, to be substantiated by credentials.

Professor (Shiksha Shastra) Essential Qualifications for Professor (Shiksha Shastra) (i) Acharya Degree or equivalent degree (Sanskrit) and Shiksha Acharya or equivalent degree in Sanskrit medium each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) OR M.A. (Education)with Sanskrit medium with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and Shiksha Shastra with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed); (ii) Vidyavaridhi in Shiksha Shastra or equivalent with Sanskrit specialization (iii) At least ten years of teaching experience in University department of education or College of Education of which a minimum of five years at the Shiksha Acharya level with published work in the area of specialization.

Associate Professor (Jain Darshana) Essential Qualifications for Associate Professor (Jain Darshana) 1. Good academic record with a Vidyavaridhi Degree in Jain Darshana subject or equivalent degree. 2. Acharya Degree in Jain Darshana subject or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). 3. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/ Industry excluding the period of Vidyavaridhi or equivalent degree research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and / or research / policy papers.4. Contribution to educational innovation,. Design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students 5. Associate Professor (Nyaya) Essential Qualifications for Associate Professor (Nyaya) 1. Good academic record with a Vidyavaridhi Degree in Nyaya subject or equivalent degree. 2. Acharya Degree in Nyaya subject or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). 3. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/ Industry excluding the period of Vidyavaridhi or equivalent degree research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and / or research / policy papers. 4. Contribution to educational innovation,. Design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students 5. Good academic record with a Vidyavaridhi Degree in Dharmashastra subject or equivalent degree. 2. Acharya Degree in Dharmashastra subject or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). 3. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/ Industry excluding the period of Vidyavaridhi or equivalent degree research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and / or research / policy papers. 4. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/ Industry excluding the period of Vidyavaridhi or equivalent degree research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and / or research / policy papers. 4. Besides fulfilling the above mentioned qualifications, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. 3. Notwithstanding anything contained in afore mentioned clauses (1) and (2) as per of the UGC Regulations, 2010, candidates , who are, or have been awarded a Vidyavaridhi / Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility conditions of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor.

Besides fulfilling the above mentioned qualifications, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. 3. How To Apply For Professor & More vacancies Vacancy in Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (RSkS):

  1. The candidates must enter the relevant score in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) in case of Professor & Associate Professor.
  2. The period of time taken by candidates to acquire M.Phil and /or Ph.D Degree shall not be considered as teaching/ research experience to be claimed for appointment to the teaching positions.
  3. The reservation for SC/ST/PWD candidates will be as per the Govt. of India rules.
  4. A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master’s level for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD category. (ii) A relaxation of 5% may be provided, from 55% to 50% of the marks, to the Ph.D Degree holders who have passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19 September,1991.
  5. The eligibility of candidates will be determined as on the last date fixed for receipt of application forms i.e. 30th June, 2015.Before applying for a post, candidates are advised to satisfy themselves about their eligibility. No enquiry in this regard will be entertained.
  6. Separate application must be submitted for each post. Relaxation in educational qualifications, experience, age etc. to the reserved category candidates will be permissible as per Government of India / UGC rules.
  7. Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed application form accompanied by the documents listed at Sl.No. 3 of “General Conditions” alongwith an application fee of Rs.200/- (Rs. Two Hundred Only). Application fee will have to be remitted through demand draft/ Pay order favouring Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi.
