Detail Of U N Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre (UNMICRC)  Assistant Professor Recruitment:

  1. Academic Qualification: • M.Ch. (Cardio Vascular & Thoracic Surgery)/ M.Ch. (Cardiac Surgery)/M.Ch. (Vascular Surgery) / M.Ch. (Thoracic Surgery) /DNB (CVTS) from teaching Institute recognized by MCI.
  2. Teaching Experience (as per MCI norms): • Requisite recognized specialization qualification in the subject. • Three years teaching experience in the subject concerned in a recognized Medical college /Institute as Resident / Registrar / Demonstrator/Tutor.
  3. Remuneration: A. 0 to 6 months – Consolidated pay of Rs. 58,500/-per month + Fixed incentive of Rs.65,000/-Per month for 1 emergency in a week & additional hours of working which will be 12 hours per week B. 6 months to 1 year – Consolidated pay of Rs. 58,500/-per month+ Fixed incentive of Rs.75,000/-per month for 1 emergency in a week & additional hours of working which will be 12 hours per week. C. 1 year to 1 ½ year – Consolidated pay of Rs. 58,500/-per month+ Fixed incentive of Rs.85,000/-per month for 1 emergency in a week & additional hours of working which will be 12 hours per week. D. 1 ½ year to 2 years – Consolidated pay of Rs. 58,500/-per month+ Fixed incentive of Rs.95,000/-per month for 1 emergency in a week & additional hours of working which will be 12 hours per week. E. More than 2 years – Consolidated pay of Rs. 58,500/-per month+ Fixed incentive of Rs.1,05,000/-per month for 1 emergency in a week & additional hours of working which will be 12 hours per week. • For getting fixed incentive from A to E they have to work in OPD round/emergency duty once in week, emergency night duty once in week, either for OT or CTRR & other job profile decided by institute. • Faculties will have to perform minimum cardiac surgeries / procedures as decided by the Institute to match with the incentive policy of the Institute per case and for teaching, academic, research activities of the Institute.
  4. For D & E in addition to above mention working, they will be given additional incentive of Associate to Cardiac Surgeon in OT where they will be given 1st case Nil & 2nd case Rs.1000/-. OR • Consolidated pay of Rs.58,500/- per month + incentive per case as per incentive policy of the Institute can be considered for deserving candidates which will be decided on work performance, merit, teaching, academic, research activities, past track record of faculties regarding data of the results of the treatment independently mainly for complicated / complicated complex cardiac procedures and giving effective efficient protocolized critical / highly skilled cardiac treatment.
  5. Incentive per case as per prevailing incentive policy of the Institute (as per seniority) will be decided by the selection committee for
    appointment.
  6. Remuneration i.e. Consolidated pay + fixed incentive or Consolidated pay + incentive per case as per incentive policy of the Institute will be decided by the selection committee for appointment during interview.
  7. Incentive will be decided on merit, work performance and past track record of teaching, academic & research of faculty regarding data of results of treatment mainly for simple, complicated, complicated complex cardiac procedure.
  8. In addition to above mentioned fixed incentive by the institute, you may get additional incentive for teaching, training and research by the institute as per incentive policy of the institute.
  9. Any change in the Incentive policy will be applicable. 10 % yearly increment on consolidated pay (gross). Leave, PF, Gratuity, Group Health Insurance and other benefits will be as per rules of the Institute. Conference leave of 15 days will be given. Institute will sponsor for attending national/international conference as per rules of the Institute, which also includes other academic activities decided by the Institute.
