  8. Required Skills and Experience Education: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is required. Experience:  Minimum seven years of progressive professional experience in international procurement and/or operations or must have held similar positions in other international organizations; A combination of UNDP HQ and CO experience would be an advantage; Proven conceptual analytical and evaluative skills and ability to conduct independent research and analysis, identifying issues, formulating options and making conclusions and recommendations to management; CIPS or equivalent certification in procurement is highly desired. In its absence the incumbent will be expected to acquire at least UNDP CIPS Level IV upon appointment. Language:  Fluency in oral and written English language is absolutely required; Knowledge of other UN languages will be an advantage.
