APPLICATIONS FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR ENGINEER (VIDYUT SAHAYAK)-ELECTRICAL, JUNIOR ENGINEER (VIDYUT SAHAYAK)-CIVIL, LAW OFFICER, METER TESTER GR-I AND SUPERINTENDENT ACCOUNTS.

Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Limited (UGVCL), subsidiary of GUVNL (erstwhile GEB), ISO- 9001:2008 Company and recipient of National Gold Shield for its excellent performance in power distribution during 2010-11, having consumer-base of around 30 Lacs, annual turnover of Rs. 7500 Crores and manpower strength of more than 7500, invites applications from young, dynamic and result oriented Junior Engineer (Vidyut Sahayak)- Electrical, Junior Engineer (Vidyut Sahayak)-Civil, Law Officer, Meter Tester Grade-I

JUNIOR ENGINEER (VIDYUT SAHAYAK)-Electrical

  1. QUALIFICATION:  B.E. or B.Tech or equivalent Degree in Electrical Engineering from UGC  recognized University with minimum 60% marks for UR (Unreserved) category  candidates and 55% for SC, ST, SEBC category candidates.  Above percentage marks to be calculated of Aggregate of 7th & 8th semester at  first trial without ATKT in either of the semester.
  2. AGE LIMIT: (As on the date of issuance of the advertisement-i.e.27/08/2014):  30 Years for UR (Unreserved) category candidates and 35 years for reserved category (SC, ST & SEBC) candidates. 05 years relaxation is granted in upper age  limit to female candidates in each respective caste whereas limit to PH candidates  is 40 years. Ex-Serviceman is 40 year. Dependent of retired employee of GUVNL and  its subsidiary company is up to 40 years.
  3. REMUNERATION:  Fixed remuneration for 1st and 2nd year would be Rs.18000/-and Rs.20000/-  respectively per month. No other allowance or benefits would be admissible except  coverage under Personal Accident Policy, Reimbursement of TA/DA whatever  admissible to the category of JE as per Company’s rules.
  4. SCOPE OF CARRIER DEVELOPMENT / PROSPECTIVE: On completion of successful and satisfactory two year services as Junior Engineer  (Vidyut Sahayak)-Electrical, the candidates will be appointed to the post “JUNIOR  ENGINEER” on regular establishment in the scale of Rs.17300-38610/-. The right  candidates have bright prospect of promotion up to the level of Chief Engineer as  per Company’s rules after passing of requisite prescribed Departmental exam.

JUNIOR ENGINEER (VIDYUT SAHAYAK)-CIVIL

  1. QUALIFICATION:  B.E. or B.Tech or equivalent Degree in Civil Engineering from UGC recognized  University with minimum 60% marks for UR (Unreserved) category candidates and  55% for ST category candidates.  Above percentage marks to be calculated of Aggregate of 7th & 8th semester at  first trial without ATKT in either of the semester.

  1. QUALIFICATION:  First class graduate degree having special LLB from UGC recognized University  OR  First class five years LLB integrated course fr  om UGC recognized University. Preferable LLM degree.
  2. AGE LIMIT: (As on the date of issuance of the advertisement-i.e.27/08/2014):  30 Years  05 years relaxation is granted in upper age limit to female candidates in each  respective caste whereas limit to PH candidates is 40 years. Ex-Serviceman is 40 year. Dependent of retired employee of GUVNL and its subsidiary company is up to  40 years.
  3. REMUNERATION:  Pay Scale Rs.21900–43350/-  Gross Salary as around of Rs.47700/- per month.

 METER TESTER GRADE-I

  1. QUALIFICATION:  B.Sc (Science Graduate) with Physics as main subject from UGC recognised  university or Diploma Electrical or certification in Electrical Engineering from  AICTE recognized University with minimum 60 % marks for UR (unreserved) category  candidates and 55 % for SC, ST category candidates.  Above percentage marks to be calculated of Aggregate of 7th & 8th semester at  first trial without ATKT.
  2. AGE LIMIT: (As on the date of issuance of the advertisement-i.e.27/08/2014):  30 Years for UR (Unreserved) category candidates and 35 years for SC, ST category  candidates. 05 years relaxation is granted in upper age limit to female candidates  in each respective caste whereas limit to PH candidates is 40 years. Ex-Serviceman  is 40 year. Dependent of retired employee of GUVNL and its subsidiary company is  up to 40 years.
  3. REMUNERATION:  Pay Scale Rs.10100–22000/-  Gross Salary as around of Rs.22000/- per month.
  4. EXPERIENCE :  One year Experience in Meter Testing Laboratory preferred.

SUPURIENTENDANT ACCOUNTS

  1. QUALIFICATION:  CA or ICWA or MBA (F) or M.Com in accounts subject with 60% from UGC recognized  University.
  2. AGE LIMIT: (As on the date of issuance of the advertisement-i.e.27/08/2014): 30 Years  05 years relaxation is granted in upper age limit to female candidates in each  respective caste whereas limit to PH candidates is 40 years. Ex-Serviceman is 40 year. Dependent of retired employee of GUVNL and its subsidiary company is up to  40 years.
  3. REMUNERATION:  Pay Scale Rs.17300–38610/-  Gross Salary as around of Rs.37700/- per month.

General terms & conditions:

  1. The management reserves the right to short list, select or rejects any candidates  for written test / Oral / Interview as the case may be for selection.
  2. The management reserves right to cancel Select list / Waiting list / or extend  validity period in exigency of work at any time at its sole discretion, without  assigning any reasons thereof.
  3. Candidates are required to submit online application compulsorily.
  4. If the candidates submit the online application, but do not forward the hard copy  of application with requisite documents and with demand draft of nationalised  Bank (fees) of required amount, then such candidature will be treated as invalid.
  5. The application is liable to be rejected, if it is not in conformity with given  proforma, incomplete, illegible, and unsigned or without requisite certificates and  application fee wherever applicable or received after closing date, without  assigning any reasons thereof and in all such events the fees received by DD will  not be refunded.
  6. Copy of School Leaving Certificate is must for Birth date / Age verification.
  7. Applications will be short listed as per our requirement & only short listed  candidates will be called for written test / interview as case may be on the base of  percentage of academic year.
  8. UR/SEBC/PH Category Candidates have to send Demand Draft from Nationalised  Bank of Rs. 500/-.and for SC/ST Category Candidates have to send Demand Draft from Nationalised Bank of Rs. 250/-. Payable in favour of “UGVCL, Mehsana”.  And write down your Name & Confirmation number on the back side of the  Demand Draft. Demand Draft amount towards application form fee, processing and  scrutiny fee which is non-refundable.
  9. The applicants have to send Demand Draft of Nationalized Bank with application.
  10. Knowledge of Gujarati, English languages & Computer awareness are essential.
  11. Physically handicapped candidates shall have to submit latest certificate of Civil  Surgeon indicating existing percentage of physical disability.
  12. Candidates should have sound health. Candidates with myopia and hypermetropia  exceeding +/- 4.00D need not apply. Squint and colour blindness (partial or full) is  disqualification for the post.
  13. Reservation in seat quota will be maintained as per prevail rules in GUVNL and  its Subsidiary Company.
  14. Woman policy and Physical Handicap policy applies as per  GUVNL circular No.GUVNL/RVCELL/2013/784,DTD.15/05/2013 and  No. GUVNL/RVCELL/2012/1588, DTD.20/09/2012.  Those candidate OL (Only one Leg) HH (Hearing Handicap) only is applicable in  JE (VS)-Electrical and  OA (Only one Arm) OL (Only one Leg) and HH (Hearing Handicap) only is applicable  in JE (VS)-Civil.
  15. Caste certificate issued by Competent Authority of Government of Gujarat State  only will be considered as a valid.
  16. SEBC candidates shall have to submit Non Creamy Layer Certificate (issued in  Gujarati-on or after dated 01.04.2014 and caste certificate  issued by competent Authority of Gujarat State to be considered under SEBC  category. (Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued in English for OBC (other backward  class) shall not be considered valid)
  17. Selected Candidate shall be posted any where under the jurisdiction of UGVCL and  the candidate selected for the post, shall not be transferred from UGVCL to any  other subsidiary Company of GUVNL.
  18. Candidate, who is applying against any reserved quota as narrated above, may  write the same in application form in respective column.
  19. Mere submission of application does not guarantee the adequacy of candidature for  being considered for the selection process.
  20. Departmental candidates meeting with the qualification / experience criteria as  prescribed can also apply through proper channel and compete with the external  candidates.
  21. If you are a Govt. servant or working in a Semi Government or Public body,  applications should be forwarded through proper channel along with “No Objection  Certificate” from the concerned organization, failing which candidature will be  treated as disqualified.
  22. The selected candidates shall have to produce reliving order from the previous  employer at the time of resuming his duty.
